Eu continuo inspirada no estilo vintage para meus trabalhos em tricô! Isso significa que eu tenho um monte de receitas da Kim Hargreaves para tricotar!
A textura simples e toque clássico deste casaquinho parece tão bem juntos!
Eu acho que a Kim Hargreaves nunca falha em seus projetos, não importa o tamanho e a receita, tudo SEMPRE se encaixa!

I still inspired by the vintage style to my knitting work. It means that I have a lot of Kim Hagreaves designs to knit!
The simple texture and classic touch of this cardigan looks so good together!
I think Kim Hargreaves never fails in her designs, no matter what size and pattern, everything ALWAYS fits!
Those are reasons why I become an enthusiastic fan of her books.

Eu não usei o fio sugerido, uma mistura de algodão e lã, mas encontrei Jaeger Baby Merino DK - com similar amostra e cor.
Este fio é extremamente confortável e será perfeito para me manter quente e aconchegada com os dias frios do inverno.

I didn't use the yarn suggested, a cotton-wool blend, but I found Jaeger Baby Merino DK - with a similar gauge and color.
This yarn is extremely comfortable and this will be perfect to keep me warm and cozy through the cold winter days.

Eu também tricotei esta peça com mangas compridas. Amo a manga 3/4... No entanto, ele torna-se tão frio!
Então, eu montei e tricotei 52 pts ao longo da borda picot, trabalhando os aumentos 1 ponto, em cada extremidade, na carreira seguinte e a cada 8 carreiras, até que houvesse 58 pts.
Depois disto, eu continuei tricotando a receita como está escrita.

I also knit this piece with long sleeves. Love the 3/4 sleeves... However, it turn so cold!
So, I picked up and knitted 52 sts along the picot edge, working the incs 1 st at each end of next row and on every 8th row, until there was 58 sts.
After that, I continued knitting the pattern as written.

Agulhas/Needles: US 3 / 3.25 mm, US 5 / 3.75 mm.

Fiz o picot em carreiras alternadas em vez da 4ª carreira, para adicionar mais babados na borda.

I made the picot in alt rows instead of 4th row, to add more ruffles at the edge.

Eu sempre sinto que tenho mais do que suficiente para usar, mas esse gorro me fascinou desde que eu vi... Eu tive que fazê-lo imediatamente.

Everything looks so better with a hat. It's a powerful acessory that can be made instantly to compose with any outfit.
I always feel like I have more than enough to wear, but this hat has fascinated me ever since I saw it... I had to go immediately for it.

Minhas modificações para esta receita:
- Usei fio Rowan Kid Classic em vez de Rowan Handknit Cotton! É muito macio ao toque e bem quente.
- Este fio pede agulhas diferentes. Eu fiz o gorro com agulhas: US 5 - 3.75mm e US 7 - 4.5mm.
- Tricotei em círculos com agulhas de pontas duplas para evitar a emenda.

My modifications for this pattern:
- I used Rowan Kid Classic yarn instead of Rowan Handknit Cotton! It's very soft to the touch and very warm.
- This yarn calls for different needles. I made the hat with needles: US 5 - 3.75mm and US 7 - 4.5mm.
- I knit in the round with DPNs to avoid seaming.

It's time to knit hats! So, I decided to return a hibernated project: Kat from Kim Hargreaves.

Meu plano original era usar esses fios para esta receita, mas mudei de idéia depois que vi Starr do novo livro Misty.

My original plan was to use these yarns for this patt, but I changed my mind after I saw Starr from the new book Misty.

É exatamente o mesmo padrão de Kat, mas estas rendas são insanamente fofas e (tão importante) que vai acrescentar mais diversão ao meu trabalho de tricô.

It's the exact same pattern as Kat, but these lace are insanely cute and (just as important) they will add more fun to my knitting work.

É muito bom ver isso acontecer, especialmente depois de costurar todos os babados para o pulôver. Isso fez uma diferença enorme ... É muito impressionante!

I can honestly say, "Mission Accomplished!".
It's really nice to see it happen, especially after sewing all the frills to the pullover. That made a huge difference... It's very impressive!

Eu não fiz qualquer modificação na receita, mas não posso explicar-lhes como eu usei apenas 5 novelos em vez de 6 novelos, apesar de não tricotar firmemente (eu penso...)

I did not make any changes to the pattern, but I can't explain to you how I used only 5 skeins instead of 6 skeins, even though I don't knit tightly (I think...)

Desta vez, eu customizei algo para vestir: a saia saiu de uma longa capa franzida.
Eu amo tanto essa cor fucsia que não pude resistir... Costurei em torno das bordas de cima para baixo e pronto!

This time, I customized something to wear: the skirt came out from a long ruffled wrap.
I love so much this fucsia color that I couldn't resist... I sewed around the edges at the top to bottom and voìla!

A maior dificuldade para mim é descobrir os botões perfeitos para o meu trabalho de tricô.
Eu estava procurando por algo vintage e eu acho que a madrepérola tem um brilho bonito e um estilo delicado.
Eu particularmente amo botões madrepérolas, mas isto, na mesma cor ou em cores contrastantes, é bastante difícil de conseguir. Então, eu estou feliz por encontrar estes botões.

The most difficult thing for me is to find out the perfect buttons for my knitting work.
I was looking for something vintage and I think the mother-of-pearl have a beautiful luster and a delicate style.
I particularly love mother-of-pearl buttons, but this, in the same color or in contrasting colors, is a quite hard to get. So, I'm glad to find these buttons.

Ainda mais feliz em dizer que estou terminando meu pulover Effie.
Estou quase lá. Talvez em breve terei algumas fotos para mostrar a vocês...

Bem, eu passei tanto tempo com esse projeto, eu admito... com um pouco de vergonha.
Talvez, eu vou ter que me disciplinar para ter apenas um trabalho de tricô, de cada vez.
Certamente vou tentar ... (Por que isto traz um sorriso ao meu rosto quando penso sobre isso?)

I like the idea of starting this post with a big: Allure is done!
Well, I spent so much time with this project, I admit... with a little bit of a shame.
Maybe, I 'll have to discipline myself to take only one knitting work, at each time.
I'm certainly going to try... (Why that brings a smile to my face when I think about it?)

Obviamente, é necessária alguma paciência, mas não foi mais difícil do que qualquer trabalho com laçada.
Na verdade, essa receita foi muito fácil de memorizar e não foi nada chato para fazê-lo.

Obviously, it required some patience, but it was no more difficult than any lace work.
Actually, this pattern was very easy to memorize and wasn't at all boring to do it.

Eu adoro o estilo da gola alta, mas eu tenho um pescoço curto ...
Então, adaptei-o acrescentando seis botões e deixando o lado aberto.
É ainda uma gola alta, com um pequeno toque versátil e mais agradável para mim ...

I love the cowl style, but I have a short neck...
So, I adapted it adding six buttons and leaving the side open.
It still be a soft cowl with a little versatile touch and more flattering on me...

Para a gola, arrematei os pontos (bem frouxo) com agulhas maiores.
E não usei o vapor do ferro nas peças, isso não foi necessário.

For the collar, I binded off (very loosely) with large needles.
And I don't steam the pieces, this was not necessary.
