Feriado de Natal está próximo, um novo ano está chegando e meu último tricô, finalmente terminou!
Eu estive muito ocupada estes dias ... Acho que você notou algumas mudanças por aqui, hein? Sim, eu passei pesadas horas para melhorar o meu blog e (incrível!) coloquei o meu trabalho de tricô de lado por um tempo.
Mas o meu dezembro está pronto para um novo começo!

I've been so busy these days... I think you noticed some changes around here, huh? Yeah, I spent massive hours to improve my blog and (unbelievable!) I put my knitting work aside for a while.

My project changed slightly since this post was written.
I think that the final result look pleasing and fresh also...
Exceto pelos os babados, tudo é feito em ponto malha, então eu não tive dúvidas em escolher o fio Kidsilk Spray para este projeto.
A receita original pede fio duplo em uma agulha de 5,5 milímetros, mas eu usei fio simples com agulha 4mm e também adaptei-o para tamanho grande.
Except for the ruffles, it's all done in st st, so I had no doubt in choosing the Kidsilk Spray yarn for this project.
The original pattern calls for a yarn double on a 5.5mm needle, but I used single yarn with 4mm needle and I also adapted it to larger size.
Receita/Pattern: Frill Vest from Rowan Studio 17
Tamanho/Size: L
Fio/Yarn: Rowan Kidsilk Spray 571 Mahogany – 3.3 skeins = 755.7 yards (691.0m)
Agulhas/Needles: US 6 / 4.0 mm.
Colete Frill – Regata Rock Lily – Jeans Zara - Escarpins Arezzo / Frill vest – Rock Lily T-shirt – Zara jeans - Arezzo Escarpins.
Eu realmente amei esse colete com efeito aconchegante! É simples, bonito e fácil!

A receita original usa o fio Rowan Kidsilk Haze, mas eu substituí-o por, um não muito similar, Pingouin Bruma.

The original pattern uses Rowan Kidsilk Haze yarn, but i replace it to, a not very similar, Pingouin Bruma.
Pingouin Bruma é uma boa opção para um delicado tricô com efeito mohair.
É um pouco mais espesso que deveria ser, mas ainda assim eu gostei do resultado.
Pingouin Bruma is a good option for a delicate knitting with mohair effect.
It's a little thicker that should be, but still I liked the result.
Agulhas/Needles: US 7 / 4.5 mm; US 8 / 5.0 mm
