This is just what I was looking for! A great project for that gorgeous skein of Malabrigo yarn, given by my dear friend Annie, and I found it! My experience with this delightful yarn couldn't have been more better…
The Orchid Thief shawlette was designed for one-skein projects and it really takes only single skein:- I have exactly 8g of yarn left from my skein.

Acho que foi um grande desafio testar todos os meus conhecimentos lendo gráficos de tricô, porque eu me perdi na minha transição do gráfico 3 para o gráfico 4.
Mesmo eu terminando o gráfico 3, com a mesma quantidade de pontos que a receita, a folha principal não ficou alinhada com a coluna de laçadas duplas.
Se você estiver passando pela mesma coisa, talvez as minhas modificações serão úteis para você. Apenas deixe-me saber se não estou perdendo minha sanidade mental, por favor?

I think it was a great challenge to test all my knowledge reading knitting charts, because I got lost in my transition of chart 3 to chart 4.
Even I finished the chart 3 with the same sts as the pattern, the main leaf was not aligned with the column of double YO.
If you are going through the same thing, maybe my modifications will be helpful for you. Just let me know if I'm not losing my sanity, please?

Às vezes sinto que eu não sei o suficiente sobre tricô, mas o lado positivo é que me motiva a esforçar-me mais do que eu pensava ser possível.
Por tudo de errado que eu faço, eu aprendo algo novo para corrigir meus erros e seguir em frente.
Esta é uma grande lição de paciência e, neste caso, uma atividade muuuuito demorada. Mas, eu ainda estou gostando e amando tricotar.
Enfim, sinto-me uma tricoteira melhor por ter terminado meu casaco Fair Isle, e estou feliz de dizer exatamente isso: missão cumprida!

Sometimes I feel I don't know enough about knitting, but the positive side is it motivates me to push myself farther than I thought possible.
For everything wrong I do, I learn something new to fix my mistakes and move forward.
This is a great lesson in patience and in this case, a veeeery time-consuming activity. But, I'm still really enjoying and loving knitting.
Anyway, I feel a better knitter for having finished my Fair Isle cardigan and I'm happy to say just that: mission completed!

Comprei exatamente o mesmo número de novelos necessários, mas eu não sei porque a cor principal não foi suficiente para terminar a barra frontal com mais uma carreira ...

Definitely, it's my most ambitious and challenging knitting work yet.
Except for the long stretches of time between my updates, it was an enjoyable experience for myself. I would recommend it!

Eu não sabia que eu havia me tornado viciada até que eu comecei este trabalho!
Infelizmente, não tenho muito tempo para tricotar ultimamente, tanto quanto eu gostaria, por isso o meu progresso é muito lento.

I’m introducing to you my last obsession: Fair Isle knitting and these little birds.
I did not realize how addicted I had become until I started this work!
Unfortunately, I don’t have much time to knit lately as much as I would like, so my progress is very slow.

Este casaco é tricotado tubularmente com pontos extras (steeks) para a abertura da frente. Para isso, a receita é feita usando agulhas de ponta dupla e circular, mas eu vou te dizer sinceramente: eu prefiro usar uma agulha circular longa com o método do laço mágico.

This cardigan is knit in the round with steek stitches for the front opening. For this, the pattern is made using double-pointed and circular needles, but I'll tell you honestly, I prefer to use one long circular needle with magic loop method.

A barra ornamentada é um pouco chata para tricotar com agulhas menores, mas eu realmente adorei o resultado final.

The beaded rib is a little boring to knit with smaller needles, but I really loved the final result.

Pretendo reforçar a borda steek com crochet antes do corte.
Dá pra acreditar? Eu crochetando alguma coisa? Eu não teria pensado em adicionar isto à minha lista de habilidades, mas será necessário aprender...

Este projeto foi finalizado a tempos atrás e só estava faltando tirar as fotos para postar aqui. O domingo ensolarado foi perfeito para tirar as fotos. E acreditem, hoje é o primeiro dia do inverno aqui!

This project was completed to time ago and was missing only take photos to post here. The sunny Sunday was perfect for taking those pictures. And believe me, today is the first day of winter here!

Para seguir as tendências desta estação, resolvi tricotar novamente outro xale.
Este é simplesmente um charme! Como um acessório ele dá um toque especial em qualquer produção.
A receita do Ishbel, disponível aqui, possui 2 tamanhos. Eu fiz a versão menor, que chamei de "a preguiçosa".

To follow the trends this season, I decided knitting another shawl again.
This is simply a charm! As an accessory it gives a special touch to any production.
The pattern of Ishbel, available here, has 2 sizes. I did a smaller version, which called for "the lazy".

Usei 305m do fio Pingouin Noblesse 2629, um pouco mais grosso do que o sugerido.
Fiz a blocagem do xale e para reforçar mais o efeito das ondas usei o vapor do ferro na beirada com esta técnica.

I used 305M of Pingouin Noblesse 2629, a little thicker than the suggested.
I made the shawl blocking and to strengthen further the effect of waves, I used the steam iron on edge with this technique.
